S&T Technician

• The role holder is responsible for conducting the maintenance of the signaling equipment to ensure all required systems are implemented and are running appropriately.
• Identifies areas that require maintenance or enhancement and reports the matter to the S& T Foreman.
• Coordinates with the S& T Foreman regarding the maintenance requirements that need to be carried out.
• Implements and carries out our maintenance activities on required systems to ensure the smooth functioning of the systems.
• Ensures adherence to the maintenance schedule and carries out maintenance activities as per the prioritized list of maintenance requirements.
• Carries out the maintenance operations in compliance with the established standards.
• Identifies redundant issues that arise and works towards implementing measures to avoid recurring S&T issues.
• Supports on works on technical systems controlling large miles of track and keeps track of train movements by ensuring signal transmission.
• Seeks for measures to be implemented to enhance the S&T maintenance activities carried out.
• Identifies potential maintenance equipment suppliers and submits the list to the senior team for approval.
• Maintains relation with material
