We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Unit Manager for our ICT department to lead and manage our team of IT professionals.Job Summary:
The Unit Manager - ICT will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of all ICT systems and services within the organization. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in ICT, and the ability to drive strategic initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of ICT operations.Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership and Management:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of ICT professionals, including network engineers, system administrators, and support staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Set clear goals, objectives, and performance expectations for the ICT team, and provide regular feedback and coaching to ensure high levels of productivity and engagement.
  • ICT Infrastructure Planning and Management:
Develop and implement strategic plans for the design, deployment, and maintenance of ICT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud services.
Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of ICT systems and services, and proactively address any issues or risks that may arise. * ICT Project Management:Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of ICT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to define project requirements, allocate resources, and manage project timelines and deliverables. * ICT Governance and Compliance:Develop and enforce ICT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and security protocols.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of ICT controls and identify opportunities for improvement.
ICT Support and Service Delivery: * Provide technical guidance and support to end-users and stakeholders, troubleshooting ICT issues and resolving service requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Monitor service performance and customer satisfaction levels, and implement measures to enhance service delivery and support capabilities.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (15+ years) in a leadership role overseeing ICT operations in a corporate environment.
  • Strong technical expertise in ICT infrastructure, systems, and services, including networks, servers, security, and cloud technologies.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and empower team members to achieve organizational goals.
Solid understanding of ICT governance frameworks, compliance standards, and risk management practices.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Note: Arabic Language is mandatory for this position.
