The role will involve reviewing precast beam and deck designs, coordinating mold fabrication, monitoring production, conducting quality inspections, and providing site supervision to ensure the successful execution of precast operations.TASKS:Design Review and Coordination:

Reviewing precast beam and deck designs from a constructability perspective, ensuring compliance with project requirements;
Coordinating mold design and fabrication, including embedded items, to meet production schedules and quality standards;

Production Monitoring:

Monitoring daily precast V-beam production activities, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality specifications;
Conducting pre-inspections for QA/QC clearance before concreting works, maintaining high standards of quality and safety;

Method Statements and Risk Assessment:

Reviewing method statements and risk assessments for precast operations, V-beam installation, and transversal post-tensioning, identifying potential hazards and implementing mitigation measures;

Site Supervision and Assistance:

Providing site supervision and assistance to the construction team throughout various precast operations, including mold fabrication, V-beam production, transport, storage, installation, and post-tensioning;
Coordinating with viaduct RC contractor to ensure seamless integration of precast elements with overall project requirements;

Mix Design Development:

Assisting in the development of mix designs for precast works, if required, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to optimize concrete performance

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field;
Proven 10+ years of experience in precast construction, particularly in civil works for a railway mega-project;
Strong knowledge of precast production processes, including mold fabrication, V-beam production, and installation;
Familiarity with quality assurance/quality control procedures and standards for precast operations;
Fluent level of English (written and spoken).
