Chemical Sloping Technician

- Maintain all coming waste in sloping area at proper racks
- Coordinate with lab and operations team for waste sloping
- Maintain good housekeeping in all sloping and storage premises
- Ensure Eye wash and Shower station working properly
- Ensure all safety signs are posted properly on the walls
- Follow all the safety guideline from Operational Integrity
- Follow strict time for waste sloping
- Immediately report any non-conformance found
- Slop chemicals as per chemicals compatibility
- Consult Operations manager and OI immediately if chemicals are not identified
- Keep unidentified or unlabeled samples separately
- Ensure all empty can/bottles are kept in waste SKIP immediately after sloping
- Identify any abnormality in the waste and storage area
- Assist in identifying the chemicals hazard to lab attendants
- Assist to inspectors for chemical store management
- Ability to handle various petroleum, petrochemical, lube oil and transformer oils.
- Good English language skills to be able to read chemical names and communicate with the team.
- Good knowledge of housekeeping and safety procedures
- Able to interact with all levels of SGS staff.
- Able to identify the hazards mentioned on the chemical cans/bottles/drum
