- Create engaging multimedia content from concept to completion for use on digital and social platforms.
- Oversee the planning process including conception, filming and editing of videos and other multimedia assets to promote, engage, and communicate strategic KAUST initiatives. Work with team on ideas, storyboards, scripts and directing staff during productions.
- Establish a video and photography editorial calendar to meet or exceed established KPIs and yield strong audience engagement, while driving cultural relevance.
- Responsible for overseeing the creative execution of the video and photography content team.
- Establish an on-brand, cohesive look and feel of video and photography content across platforms and across markets
- Manage production teams in the daily planning and execution of assigned projects. Supervise staff and agencies and their work on the assigned projects.
- Review, edit, and approve preliminary and final treatments, outlines, shooting scripts, casting, production schedules, budgets, selects, graphics, music, rough cuts, final narration, and final versions of all projects.
- Work closely with teams to share multimedia best practices and expand successful project and programs. Establish workflows for creative collaboration to drive the University's reputation among target audiences.
- Ensure content is archived effectively for access and reuse.

- 6+ years experience in storytelling, including producing, developing and programming video and photography content.
- Established creative sensibility with a deep enthusiasm for KAUST's core content areas in science and education.
- Tactical skills and expert level knowledge around multi-platform distribution and deep knowledge of all stages of the production and distribution process
- Experience working within complex organizations and/or cross-functional matrix teams.
- Knowledge of digital platforms and requirements for video and creative engagement.
