- Formulating and executing departmental budgets.
- Supervising inventory requirements and overseeing office management and administrative tasks.
- Devising effective strategies to enhance the operational efficiency of the organization.
- Inspiring and managing employees, providing constructive feedback, and addressing areas for improvement.
- Evaluating the performance of assigned employees, delivering both positive and constructive feedback, and addressing any deficiencies.
- Supporting the onboarding and continuous learning of new and existing employees.
- Developing and implementing departmental policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
- Evaluating and reporting departmental metrics to upper management.
- Enhancing the work environment and streamlining departmental operations for the benefit of the organization as a whole.
- Carry out annual performance evaluation of reporting employees.
- Reporting any deviations in performance and suggesting corrective measures.
- To supervise and oversee daily plant operations and maintenance performed by operations shift team.
- Identifies plant equipment fault and clearly notify / communicates to maintenance Team and follow up.
- Submits the necessary reports and recommendations to shift engineers, Deputy Operations Manager and Operations Manager as required.
- Ensure aspects identified are monitored and operational controls are followed.
- Support shift engineer in incident analysis and RCA.
- Participates in the Plant Training and Qualification Program and achieve identified training needs. Provide guidance and training to Sr. O&M Operators & O&M Operators for completing their Training Qualification Requirements.
- Supervise, direct and co-ordinate the activities of all personnel assigned to their area.
- Reporting of emergencies and incidents and near misses.
- Effective proper resource utilization in all the site office and ensure overtime control.
- Ensure the compliance to legal requirements, contractual and organizational requirements.
- Ensure Legal compliance with respect to their scope of activities.
- Coordinate Permit to Work activities with Shift Engineers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Awareness of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environment Management system principles
- Knowledge of applicable legal requirements

- Proactive and self-starter.
- Excellent coordination, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven work experience in similar industry.
