Leidos is a FORTUNE 500 company bringing a mix of innovative technology and sector expertise to customers in the national security, engineering, and the health industries.Leidos is seeking a C-130 Avionics Instrument Systems Technicians with knowledge of the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) C-130 avionics system. The C-130 Avionics Instrument Systems Technicians will be part of the Contractor Engineering and Technical Support team in support of a U.S. Air Force Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This is a one-year assignment with option to renew. Assignment location may be one of seven locations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia per the Performance Work Statement.The C-130 Avionics Instrument Systems Technician shall perform craftsman-level work that applies a broad theoretical and practical technical knowledge to include, but not limited to, the following primary responsibilities:Organization & Intermediate level inspections and servicing for avionics/instruments system.Craftsman-level troubleshooting of discrepancies and avionics/instruments.Tracking and maintaining C-130 avionics/instruments system anomalies on GOLDesp.Remove, repair and replace system components.Review and evaluation of QC Reports as well as corrective actions.Training of RSAF personnel (OJT).Job QualificationsMaster’s degree and ten (10) years of directly related experience; OR Bachelor’s degree and twelve (12) years of direct related experience; OR sixteen (16) years of direct related experience with proper certification(s).Avionics/Instruments Specialized Certificate or Equivalent.Avionics/Instruments Maintenance experience of a minimum of five (5) years, equivalent to RSAF seven (7) skill level.High level of proficiency with regards to Glass Cockpit technology.Efficiency in inspection and maintenance service of Avionics/Instruments Systems.Effective Communication skills.Knowledgeable in C-130 aircraft documentation & manuals.Knowledgeable in all C-130 Aircraft models.Ability to evaluate C-130 Avionics Systems.Preferred QualificationsAbility to demonstrate past examples of cultural adaptability and ability to establish a trusted professional relationship with an international customer.Original Posting Date: 2024-04-11While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range: Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
