This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is pivotal in designing, implementing, and managing efficient virtualized environments using VMware technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure administration, with in-depth knowledge of VMware technologies and a proven track record of team leadership.Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a dedicated team of infrastructure engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring accountability and encouraging continuous improvement and knowledge sharing among team members.
Design, implement, and manage secure and efficient virtualized environments utilizing VMware technologies such as vSphere, vCenter, VSAN, and the vRealize Suite.
Stay abreast of the latest VMware releases, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the infrastructure remains cutting-edge and secure.
Develop and maintain robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans to safeguard critical systems and data.
Provide coaching and feedback to team members, promoting professional development and excellence within the team.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure administration, focusing on storage, backup, and compute solutions.
Proven leadership experience managing and mentoring a team of IT professionals.

In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with VMware technologies (vSphere, vCenter, VSAN, etc.).
Familiarity with industry-standard storage, backup, and compute solutions and practices.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to continuous learning and improvement in a fast-paced technological environment.
