- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions utilizing OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and architect solutions that align with business needs.
- Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment, configuration, and monitoring processes.
- Implement best practices for containerization, orchestration, and microservices architecture.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations to ensure high availability and performance.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies, incorporating them into our infrastructure where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and standards, implementing necessary measures to protect data and applications.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and provide support for production incidents as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience working with OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes in production environments.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go for automation tasks.
- Strong understanding of containerization concepts, including Docker images, containers, and registries.
- Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures using Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus.
- Certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration are desirable.
