Desktop Support Engineer at Comprehensive Business Services (CBS)Comprehensive Business Services (CBS) is seeking a talented Desktop Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT department. As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to our employees, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripherals
Collaborate with the IT team to resolve complex technical problems
Assist in the implementation of new technologies and software upgrades
Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
Respond to user inquiries and provide timely resolution
Create and update technical documentation and knowledge base articles

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or similar role
Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus
