The duty location is Redstone Arsenal, AL.Military experience is a plus. This is not a teleworking position.Description:As a Contract Analyst working with the SHIELD team, you will oversee the analysis, review, and management of contractual agreements to ensure they meet both legal standards and business needs. Your responsibilities will include the assessment of contracts, the negotiation of terms, and the preparation of contractual documents. This role also requires maintaining precise records of contracts, overseeing their implementation, and providing ongoing support. The Contract Analyst is vital in ensuring adherence to contract specifications and facilitating efficient contract management operations within the organization.Responsibilities:
  • Managing all stages of contract administration, from the initial award through the final resolution of obligations.
  • Creating, assessing, and prioritizing Contract Requirement Packages (CRP) to comply with customer deadlines and ensure alignment with the technical demands outlined in the Performance Work Statements (PWS).
  • Offering guidance to management, senior engineers, and team members on the formulation of contract documents (Performance Work Statements, Statements of Work, Independent Government Estimates, evaluation criteria, etc.), following both new and existing regulatory frameworks and guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • BA or BS degree in any field. A Master's requires 8 years’ experience in contracting.
  • Ten years’ experience, of which at least 5 years must be specialized.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate orally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently or under only general direction.
