JASARA PMC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Manager to join our team. Oversee the Invoices for ongoing projects and prepare Budget and other related tasks.

Monitor the cost control services provided by the quantity surveyor.
Assist the quantity surveyor as requested in the preparation of budgets, estimates, cost plans, cost comparisons, cash flow forecasts and cost reports
Establish cost centers and cost codes within the framework of the overall coding structure established for the development.
Review fee invoices submitted by consultants and invoices submitted by suppliers and make recommendations to the First Party for payment purposes.
Manage and co-ordinate the variation order approval process including complying with the First Party's standard operating procedures, the preparation of the necessary Request for Approval (RFA) forms and addressing potential or actual cost issues arising from such as Requests for Information (RFI) submitted by the contractor and the process of approving shop drawings and the like. The Second Party shall provide the First Party with all necessary substantiation in respect of proposed variation orders in order to obtain timely approval.
Advise the First Party on the technical implications and the effect on programme and (based on advice from the quantity surveyor) the approved budget or cost plan where changes in the scope or specification are under consideration.
Review advice provided by the quantity surveyor in relation to insurances and make any necessary recommendations so that appropriate insurance cover is in place

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
15 Years’ experience including 5 years’ experience on similar Projects and Middle East projects
Strong knowledge of cost estimation, cost control, and project management principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in cost estimation software and tools.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
