About our client:Our Client operates in the Oil and Energy industry, with its headquarters rooted strongly in Saudi Arabia. They are one of the world’s largest oil producers. They are constantly growing by creating new technologies through its Research and Development efforts and branch into new business lines through Investments and Acquisitions.Responsibilities:
  • Analyze maintenance spending in terms of manpower, equipment, materials procurement and outsource strategies.
  • Assess planning and scheduling, wench time, benchmarks, KPI, PM and predictive maintenance (PdM) effectiveness.
  • Assure completion of assigned maintenance work for a given maintenance function, cascade to team and mentor the requirement to junior GC maintenance engineers.
  • Conduct a data driven analysis to benchmark maintenance organization’s performance to identify gaps then set a sustainable plan to close the gaps, in fields including: Total spend analysis, Maintenance programs effectiveness, Total life-cycle costs of new assets, Current operating costs of existing assets, Preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, Value creation as cost saving / cost avoidance, Wench time vs plan, SAP structure table and equipment classification, Planning and schedule effectiveness, Technician competency and qualification program, Maintenance budget strategy, Capital project and Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) model amongst others.
  • You will benchmark and prepare reports on the effectiveness of such processes.
  • Work on enterprise level to forecast procurement (materials and services) strategy for annual demand per facility.
  • Assist in the implementation of approved programs information, authoritative interpretation, operating pilot runs, conducting training sessions.
  • Assess T&I and turnaround programs per facility.
Requirements:
  • You must hold a bachelor degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering.
  • You should have a minimum of 10 years’ work experience in refining or petrochemical facilities.
  • You should be able to demonstrate the highest degree of technical competence in the area of maintenance programs and activities.
Strong hands-on experience in oil & gas maintenance organization in following fields is preferred:
  • Risk-based processes such as Reliability-Centered Maintenance,
  • Risked Based Maintenance
  • Totally Productive Maintenance.
  • Spare parts, general materials procurement strategies
  • Maintenance techniques and programs
  • Best-in-class Maintenance Planning, Scheduling and work prioritization
  • Maintenance budgeting and spending control methods
  • Field maintenance methodology
