With employees located throughout the UK, Europe and Middle East, LM Corporate and EBS provide EMEA wide support to all the LM International business areas.About the RoleThe selected individual will get the chance to work as part of an existing team that is focused on supporting Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. The individual will learn how one of the largest defence company's in the world aims to achieve this through developing and transferring capability into Saudi Arabia through its Industrial Participation programs. The role involves supporting US colleagues in achieving their goals through the identification and assessment of potential in Kingdom supply chain partners.The individual will gain excellent experience in understanding the Saudi defence supply chain and how suppliers are initially assessed as candidate partners. This includes the processes to understand their existing capabilities and potential for introducing new capabilities and key technologies into Saudi Arabia. They will also gain an understanding of how Lockheed Martin contracts and qualifies suppliers, to the highest quality and performance standards required from a top defence company.The right candidate will be exposed to the end-to-end process that conforms to the General Authority for Military Industry Industrial Participation Policy and how Lockheed Martin creates and delivers direct and indirect projects.They will participate in supplier visits to conduct initial assessments, customer, supplier and partner meetings, gaining a clear appreciation of how Lockheed Martin satisfies its Localization obligations from all it business areas. This provides an opportunity to become one of a small team who are providing innovative and cutting-edge defence technologies to Saudi Arabia in support of Vision 2030.Working ScheduleStandard Hours
