- Develop and implement strategic planning processes for large-scale hospitality projects, including defining project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
- Establish project planning standards, methodologies, and best practices to ensure effective project management.
- Develop comprehensive project schedules, timelines, and milestones for hospitality projects.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure alignment with project objectives and deadlines.
- Manage resource allocation and optimization across multiple projects, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Ensure efficient utilization of resources to maximize project productivity and minimize delays.
- Monitor project progress, milestones, and deliverables to track performance against project plans and schedules.
- Identify deviations from the plan and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure project success.
- Identify, assess, and prioritize project risks and uncertainties related to planning and scheduling.
- Develop risk management plans and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and contractors, to address planning and scheduling requirements.
- Communicate planning information effectively to stakeholders, including progress updates, forecasts, and variances.
- Establish and enforce quality assurance processes and procedures for planning and scheduling activities.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of planning data and documentation.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 25 years of experience in planning roles on large-scale hospitality projects within the PMC sector.
- Strong expertise in project planning principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate planning teams.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools for scheduling and resource management.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.).
- Experience working on hospitality projects of varying scales and complexity.
- Familiarity with international building codes, standards, and regulations.
