- Develop and implement governance frameworks, policies, and procedures for JASARA's programs and projects, ensuring alignment with applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Oversee the identification, assessment, and management of risks and issues related to governance, ensuring effective mitigation and resolution measures are in place.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including government authorities, clients, and partners, to ensure effective communication and collaboration on governance matters.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of governance processes, practices, and controls, and provide recommendations for improvement to senior leadership and relevant committees.
- Lead the development and delivery of governance training and awareness programs to employees, contractors, and other stakeholders, promoting a culture of compliance and ethical behavior.
- Coordinate and support audits and reviews conducted by internal and external auditors, ensuring timely and accurate provision of documents and information.
- Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends related to governance and ensure that JASARA's policies and procedures are updated accordingly.
- Provide guidance and support to program and project teams on governance-related matters, including contract compliance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, finance, or law.
- P3G Certified.
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in a governance or compliance role, preferably in the construction or infrastructure industry.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of governance frameworks, principles, and best practices.
- Experience in developing and implementing governance policies and procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in conducting audits, reviews, and investigations, and managing relationships with auditors and regulators.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing the construction and infrastructure industry, preferably in Saudi Arabia.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English is required; proficiency in spoken Arabic is preferred.
