- Analyze the vibration and condition monitoring trend and issue report corrective action.
- Implements scheduled/unscheduled inspection programs for Machinery equipment, updates equipment inspection history records, equipment survey data and executes schedules for inspection of Machinery equipment.
- Carryout condition monitoring and periodic inspection surveys using inspection techniques like visual, vibration analysis, temperature measurements, lube oil sampling etc.
- Participates in preparation for shutdown/turnaround inspection plans along with concern Rotating Equipment Engineer, carryout inspection activities and monitors the activities of contractor/vendor for compliance as per applicable code, company standards and procedures.
- Provides field support services, by providing necessary data and recommendations by conducting measurement of temperature, vibration, displacement and QA/QC for plant Machinery Equipment during maintenance.
- Prepares periodic and special reports of survey/troubleshooting activities. Witness over speed trip test on steam turbines.
- Reviews the vibration data and trends from periodic surveys. Feedback to condition monitoring supervisor in case of abnormal trends/observation.
