As a Dell System Administrator and Support Specialist, you will be responsible for managing our Dell infrastructure and providing technical support to end-users.Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain Dell servers, storage systems, and networking equipment.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of Dell systems, identifying and resolving any issues or bottlenecks.
  • Implement and maintain backup and recovery solutions for Dell systems, ensuring data protection and business continuity.
  • Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls within the Dell infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and optimization of the Dell infrastructure with other systems and applications.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to Dell systems.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve the performance, reliability, and security of the Dell infrastructure.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and future reference.
  • Stay updated with the latest Dell technologies and advancements, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a System Administrator with a focus on Dell systems.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Dell server, storage, and networking equipment.
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining backup and recovery solutions for Dell systems.
  • Proficiency in managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls within the Dell infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and routing.
  • Experience with security measures and best practices for Dell system administration.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and end-users.
  • Relevant certifications such as Dell EMC Certified System Administrator or equivalent certifications are desirable.
