- Research and identify potential leads within the target market
- Create and execute effective sales strategies to generate new business opportunities and achieve revenue targets
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, as well as develop new partnerships
- Develop a deep understanding of our solutions to effectively communicate their value proposition to potential clients
- Conduct compelling product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients, highlighting how our software can meet their specific needs
- Lead negotiations, respond to inquiries, and close deals with event organizers and merchants to secure contracts for our software solutions
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and market dynamics to adapt sales strategies and identify new opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales pipeline in the CRM system
- Proven experience in business development and sales, ideally within the event ticketing or booking software industry
- Familiarity with event management, ticketing, and booking services, understanding the pain points and challenges faced by event organizers and merchants
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills to establish trust with clients and partners
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex software solutions in a clear and persuasive manner
- Proficient in negotiating contract terms and closing deals with a track record of achieving sales targets
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced sales environment, responding to changing market conditions and customer needs
- Capable of developing and implementing strategic sales plans to drive growth and revenue
- Comfortable using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads, track progress, and analyze data
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in a business development or sales role, with a minimum of 3 years of experience
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas
- A track record of building and maintaining client relationships in a B2B sales context
- Strong networking skills and the ability to generate leads and referrals within the industry
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a passion for selling innovative software solutions
