Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Science-related field
Minimum Experience-
Minimum12 years including:
- 5 Years Quality Assurance in Office Environment
- 7 Years Quality Control and Inspection in Field / Shop Environment
- Understanding the role and impact of quality in the overall project cycle and plant operation.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to write technical reports, business correspondence, technical procedures.
- Ability to represent the department in frequent cross-functional interactions and possible customer, subcontractor, or vendor contacts.
- Ability to provide solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.
- Ensure competent Inspectors are available to carryout the Inspections
- RFI's planning is met
- NCR's Closure
- Inspectors compliance to ITP
- Frequent site visits
- Participation on Quality Walkthrough, Site Surveillance
- Combined exposure to field and office work related to quality.
- Knowledge of Engineering Standards, local codes and international standards and codes.
- Ability to prepare / review Inspection & Test Plans and procedures in petro chemical projects.
- Ability to resolve differences between applicable codes and standards.
- Interdisciplinary exposure.
- Ability to judge the ability of Contractors, vendors and third party inspection agencies in providing acceptable quality of equipment and services.
- Ability to identify quality trends and issues using quality reports, audit reports etc. select the issues to be highlighted to the management
