Job Description:We are hiring an Electrical Engineer to carry out tasks related to the electrical engineering design and design review tasks for all types of projects from conceptual design stage all the way to the tender stage.In this role, you will generate and review the electrical engineering design deliverables such as lighting, lighting control, power, grounding, lightning protection, fire alarm, Public address, Access control, CCTV, Data & telephone systems, etc for code compliance, interdisciplinary integration and constructability aspects.Additionally, you will be responsible to interact and coordinate projects with design, construction, planning, real estate, and other related discipline leads. You will be asked to review electrical engineering drawings and documents, project specifications, participate in project cost estimates, as well as to carry out estimations of engineering efforts in terms of hours and time for the project proposals Parsons is bidding for. You may also attend engineering discussions in both design projects related aspects as well as construction meetings for running projects on site.Revit modelling knowledge would be a great plus. If not, you will be obligated to learn how to do Revit modelling where you will be later requested to do Revit modelling in tasks that will be assigned to you. You will need to know Navis works for the coordination and clash detection purposes.Qualifications:3+ years of related electrical engineering oversight experienceBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institutionExperience in the field of design and design review of the electrical systems for the different types of buildings such as residential, commercial, industrial, and healthcare facilities with reference to required codes compliances.Knowledge of construction works / inspections is also required along with carrying out site visits when needed for data collection and the preparation of site validation reports.Good BIM knowledge including Revit and Navisworks.Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Not Applicable/NoneParsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
