Come work with us and let's build something great together!Military experience is a plus.This is not a teleworking position.S3, Inc. has an immediate need for Senior Program Analyst Support for the SHIELD Project at Redstone Arsenal, AL.Description:The Senior Program Analyst will support the SHIELD Project Office within the Program Executive Office Missiles & Space (PEO M&S) and develop acquisition strategies, prepare work statements, create evaluation plans, and aid in vendor qualification.The Program Analyst will also assist in the budget preparation process, support Senior Acquisition Executive (SAE) oversight, and influence decision-making activities. The role also includes extensive program execution oversight, maintaining and enhancing planning, scheduling, and management activities.Responsibilities:· Assist in developing and refining acquisition strategies and work statements.· Participate in the preparation of defense budgets, ensuring alignment with program goals and compliance with governmental guidelines.· Analyze and recommend enhancements to program documentation, phase transition plans, and overall program execution strategies.· Conduct in-depth research and analysis on program trends, identify potential issues, and devise effective solutions.· Manage updates to program documents, advise on funding allocations, establish program goals, objectives, and schedules.· Track program compliance, identify deviations in program direction, assess impacts, and recommend corrective actions.· Utilize quantitative analytical techniques to evaluate the system acquisition process, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.· Engage in the development of acquisition plans, source selection documents, Independent Government Cost Estimates, and other essential procurement documentation.· Collaborate effectively with project office personnel to ensure coordinated and efficient program management.Qualifications:· Bachelor degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant program analyst experience.· A secret security clearance or higher, or the ability to get a clearance.· Five years of experience as a program analyst.· The ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.· The ability to work independently or under only general direction.· Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, with an emphasis on Excel.· Experience identifying and researching programmatic issues and tradeoffs in terms of required capabilities, costs, and schedules.· Experience developing acquisition plans, source selection documents, Independent Government Cost Estimates, justifications and approvals, synopses, and requests for proposals/quotes/bids.· Prefer experience with operational support and strategic planning of defense programs similar to the SHIELD Project Office initiatives.Systems Studies and Simulation, Inc. provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
