Executes / supervises and administers projects, applying knowledge of design, construction procedures, authority requirements, zoning and applicable codes and design and construction specifications;
Reviews engineering details as and when required for the execution of works.
Ensure that the design engineers design intent is delivered by the contractor and is responsible for dealing with any on-site design problems that arise.
Addresses modifications desired by the Client in co-ordination with the Design Engineer.
Assists the Project Lead in review and selection of materials and equipment that are in compliance with approved material submittals.
Support the project lead to issue engineering correspondences.
Highlights any violations to construction / engineering related issues on site through issuance of NCRS
Attends progress review meetings and co-ordination meetings to assist the Project Lead in resolving any site issues such as discrepancies in project’s drawings.
Participates in the coordination and monitoring of snagging and project handover
Provides support to Project Manager/team leader to ensure projects run smoothly by providing expert knowledge and advice.
Liaises with the Design Engineer on modifications required.
Gives daily site reports and highlights issues that arise on site to the Project Lead.

Qualifications

A relevant engineering degree from a recognized Institution.
Minimum of 15 years overall relevant experience.
Minimum of 7 years relevant work experience in similar projects.
Minimum of 5 years regional experience.
