One of our esteemed clients in the Shipbuilding industry is currently seeking a Procurement Specialist to be based in Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.Job Overview:As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing the procurement process to ensure the organization acquires goods and services in an efficient, cost-effective, and ethical manner. This role requires a deep understanding of procurement principles, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers. The Procurement Experienced Specialist will collaborate with various departments to identify their procurement needs and implement strategies to meet those needs while adhering to organizational policies and industry regulations.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Sourcing:

Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, assess their capabilities, and evaluate market trends.
Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize costs while maintaining quality and reliability.

Supplier Management:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries and resolving any performance issues.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements for the organization.

Procurement Process:

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement requirements and provide guidance on procurement processes.
Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including requisition review, supplier selection, purchase order issuance, and contract management.

Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies in all procurement activities.
Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks, implementing strategies to minimize potential disruptions.

Cost Optimization:

Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or service levels.
Analyze spending patterns and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Utilize procurement analytics to assess performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in procurement, with a focus on strategic sourcing and supplier management.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Excellent understanding of procurement regulations and ethical standards.
Proficient in using procurement software and tools.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certification in procurement (e.g., CSCP, CPIM, CIPS).
Advanced degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience in a similar role within the industry.

Requirements:

Graduated from Top Tech Colleges
2-3 years of work experience
Should be fluent in English (minimum IELTS band score of 7 or equivalent)
