Job Reference No: 3230As CNC and Robot Programmer you would be responsible for fulfilment of Robot, Laser, Punch & Bend programming requirements of Lucy Switchgear Arabia, Dammam and aligned with the Production Targets. You will ensure that all Programming Activities in LSA Factory are being performed and set to meet the Production Requirements.Job DimensionsThe CNC and Robot Programmer Role involves regular and close interactions with all Operations Department specially Assembly and Fabrication. Furthermore, interactions with Maintenance are often required.Key AccountabilitiesThe position is responsible to:Laser/Punch/Bend Programming:- To release Laser, Punch & Bend Programs for LSA requirements in line with the production plan & department procedures.- Programming improvements on a continuous scale to achieve higher nesting efficiency as per SMART target.- Weekly reporting of all programming related KPIs like Nesting efficiency, Nesting Savings.- BOM Downloading for the ERP System (D365).- BOM validation and error reporting to Contracts/ Engineering for corrective actions (ECR/ECN process).- To maintain the Punch, Bend & EHRT tool stock.- To suggest and implement cost reductions thought ECR/ECN process for component design change & thickness reduction.Robot Programming:- To meet the Laser Welding (preferably Trumpf) Robot programming requirement for LSA.- To implement new ideas to optimize the Laser Robot programs for cycle time reduction.- To meet the MIG Welding Robot programming requirement for LSA.- To explore the new robot (Laser / MIG) welding technique for programming parts for different applications.Support to production:- Design and supply Templates.- Design/Coordinate and get design and supply Jigs/Fixtures.- Design and supply Trolleys/Pallets/Racks/Tools/Workbenches etc.System Management (AX)- To update weekly/Monthly department reports.Production Engineering Activities- Maintenance of Existing fixture periodically through production operatives.- Maintenance of spares for the fixtures.Health and Safety- Facilitate safe working environment for people and implement H&S guidelines and regulations.General- To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as required / instructed in order to maintain and / or improve the efficiency, quality and service provided by the company.Qualifications, Experience & Skills- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or ITI (Welder).- Minimum 3 years’ experience on relevant skills as detailed above.- Trumpf Programming Software: Trutops or TruBoost.- MIG/TIG Welding- Robot programming- Should be well versed in understanding engineering drawings.Behavioural Competencies- Teamwork & Accountability.- Ability to work with people from different nationalities.- Flexible in approaching, to improvise in dynamic situations.- Amicable personality to make long term relations with internal and external stake holders.- Self-starter and takes initiative for additional responsibilities and challenges.- Work independently with minimal supervision.Does this sound interesting?
