Working with our PR partner in KSA, your goal is to help position and drive awareness for our brands EFG, ESL, DreamHack, and FACEIT in the region, including speaking opportunities for EFG’s executive management team; create and execute campaign initiatives from the first pitch to the final coverage report as well as draft and localize press releases, media alerts and presentations for our tournaments, products, partners, and media events. Your creativity and outside-the-box thinking inspire colleagues.What you’ll do● Support the execution and adaption of the global PR strategy for the MENA market;● Lead positioning and driving awareness in the region for EFG and its master brands ESL, DreamHack, Intel Extreme Masters, and FACEIT towards media, partners, and fans;● Draft press releases, media alerts, and presentations for our tournaments, products, partners, and media events, in English and Arabic;● Strengthen and grow our media network in the MENA and build relations with relevant stakeholders and departments across the EFG organization, as well as work directly with our MENA leadership, global PR team and Riyadh-based and global PR partners;● Create and execute brand, partner, or product/event-related campaign initiatives from the first pitch to the final coverage report;● Manage and guide our PR partner in the region, based in KSA and Dubai, and be a first point of contact for daily press related enquiries;● Manage anything press-related for our events in the region, from start to finish by leading the accreditation process, pitching, and inviting media outlets, ensuring proper press room onsite, creating and distributing media guides and press kits● Work closely with local entities to identify local opportunities;What you need● University Degree in Media/Journalism or Communications a plus;● Previous experience in Public Relations in the Tech, Esports or Gaming industry, with an agency or in-house (nice to have minimum of 5-7 years);● Experience/track record in orchestrating PR campaigns both in traditional and new media channels;● Storytelling and writing talent;● In-depth knowledge about new media channels;● Ability to build, develop and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally;● Good planning & project management skills;● You are an Innovative thinker, open-minded, communicative, and have an optimistic personality with a “Can do”mindset; ability to perform in a highly dynamic environment to support the team.
