- Leading and managing the design team throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives
- Developing innovative and creative design concepts that align with client vision and project goals
- Overseeing the production of design deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and presentations
- Ensuring that designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Managing the design review process and incorporating feedback from clients and stakeholders
- Coordinating with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design implementation
- Monitoring project progress and addressing any design-related issues or challenges
- Mentoring and providing guidance to junior members of the design team
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in design management
- Strong knowledge of design principles, building codes, and regulations
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and inspire team members
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Experience in the construction industry is preferred
