Job Description:Based at the Yanbu Industrial City Program on the West Coast of Saudi Arabia, Parsons is looking for a young, enthusiastic Environmental Specialist (Saudi National) to join our team! In this role will play a vital role in supporting our environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives. This will assist with a variety of tasks, including data collection, analysis, reporting, and project management.Reports directly to the Section Manager and indirectly to the SAPL Department Manager EPCD. Will support the section in daily operations, supervise and lead teams, interface with industrial customers and senior RC Management. Receives administrative and technical direction in term of board project objectives from EPCD Department Director and SAPL Department Manager EPCD.What You'll Be Doing:Conduct field studies and collect environmental data (e.g., air quality, water quality, soil samples).Analyze data and prepare reports using environmental software and tools.Assist with the development and implementation of environmental management plans (EMPs).Maintain and update environmental databases and records.Conduct research and stay up to date on relevant environmental regulations and best practices.Support the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives.Participate in meetings and presentations as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.What Required Skills You'll Bring:Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 0-2 years of experience in an environmental field (preferred).Strong understanding of environmental regulations and best practices.Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, GIS).Good communication in English language.MUST BE A SAUDI NATIONALWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Arabic & English).Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational and time management skills.Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Not Applicable/NoneParsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
