- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact for all health and benefits related matters
- Conduct regular meetings and presentations with clients to review their current plans, identify gaps and propose solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to meet clients' needs
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to provide clients with relevant and competitive benefits packages
- Manage and negotiate contracts with insurance carriers and other vendors on behalf of clients
- Monitor and analyze clients' health and benefits data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and industry standards
- Provide support and guidance to team members, including mentoring and training
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a client management or similar role, preferably in the health and benefits industry
- Strong understanding of health and benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering innovative and strategic solutions
- Proven track record of managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with data and analytics tools
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, such as HIPAA and ERISA
- Professional certification in a related field, such as Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or Certified Health Insurance Specialist (CHRS), is a plus.
