Novosel, AL.Description:The Concept Development and Experimentation Analyst supports the Concepts, Experiments, and Analysis Directorate (CEAD), Air Maneuver Battle Lab (AMBL) using highly complex analytical, statistical, and simulation methodologies to perform studies and analyses.Responsibilities:· Defines requirements, identifies/implements alternatives, develops and runs mathematical models, and balances resources and schedules.· Uses extensive background knowledge and staff planning experience of the full range of Army Aviation functions to execute detailed planning of combat aviation brigade missions in a joint, combined environment and integrates into classified scenarios.· Maintains and uses a detailed knowledge base of current and future aircraft systems, aviation survivability equipment (ASE) and Army Aviation weapon systems.· Maintains background knowledge of enemy weapon systems that are threats to Army Aviation.· Develops operations orders, writes comprehensive reports, and executes detailed air mission planning from the individual aircraft to multiple aviation brigade levels in support of constructive, virtual, and networked live simulation experiments.· Assists in the development and maintenance of scenarios and vignettes.· Formats and extracts significant and complex data required to initiate and develop changes for simulation model attributes, performance factors, and measures of effectiveness.· Maintains familiarity with experimentation and war gaming to include simulation exercises, map exercises, and seminar war games.· Fulfills all tasks under ISO 9001:2015/AS9100 guidance for Management, Analysis, and Improvement.Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree or 15 years of relevant experience.· Specialized process knowledge as well as Army Aviation skill sets typical of mid- to senior-grade government civilians and soldiers.· Extensive working knowledge, understanding, and experience in both manned and unmanned aviation operations and employment, the JCIDS Process, CONOPS Development, CBA Process, experimentation design and execution, data analysis and reduction, and a thorough understanding of the Army and Joint Concepts, especially the Army Concept Framework.· Prefer Officers, Warrant Officers, and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers with 15 or more years of operational experience in positions from company through the strategic planning level of the Army.· Knowledge of DoD and Army Aviation Transformation.· Successfully complete the following Defense Acquisition University (DAU) courses within 10 working days of the start date: Introduction to JCIDS CLR 101, Requirements Management RQM 110, Capabilities based Assessment CLR 250 and Developing Key Performance Parameters CLR 252.· Completion of the Capability Developers Course when it becomes available at Ft.
