- Conduct a thorough review of Civil Engineering Scope of Work, design documents, method statements, project quality plans, control procedures, specifications, and standards.
- Oversee and manage the Quality Management Tracking system on project sites.
- Regularly monitor and strive to meet or exceed the Project Quality Index (PQI) targets across all site/business units.
- Supervise subcontractor performance through quality control representatives to ensure compliance with project standards.
- Actively engage with project and site managers to address and resolve critical site issues.
- Drive the process for resolving client feedback, Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and observations, ensuring timely corrective and preventative measures across all projects.
- Evaluate and make decisions on ORACLE MIRN submissions for materials inspection.
- Develop and implement a QA/QC manpower mobilization and demobilization strategy.
- Plan and execute internal audits for projects and functions, addressing any findings or NCRs effectively.
- Lead monthly meetings with the civil QC team to discuss progress, challenges, and strategies.
- Make regular visits to project sites, including tender sites, to ensure quality standards are being maintained.
- Participate in client meetings, including kickoff, biweekly, and coordination meetings, to ensure alignment and project progress.
- Analyze project requirements to prepare and execute staffing plans, assigning QA/QC engineers as needed.
- Compile and submit detailed weekly and monthly progress reports to senior management.
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
- A minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in basic project management principles.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to prepare comprehensive reports.
- Advanced analytical skills for effective problem-solving and decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for project documentation and reporting.
