- Install, maintain and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and associated equipment
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for all types of HVAC systems
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
- Providing expert technical direction and on-the-job training and mentoring for other Aggreko HVAC Technicians where required
- Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions
- Ensuring compliance with appliance and Aggreko standards and with local and international Health and Safety standards
- Comply with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements
- Assist customer with HVAC queries
- Responsible for the proper preparing of equipment in the local regional depot(s)
- Ensure proper handling of refrigerants and maintenance of HVAC equipment which in turn will assist Aggreko in achieving its goal of net zero carbon
- Assist with construction/remodel plan review of upcoming projects of the HVAC systems
- Train other HVAC Technicians and staff in preventative maintenance, repair, and care of HVAC systems as may be required
- Troubleshooting and repairing digital electronic and pneumatic HVAC control systems
- Starting, stopping, and troubleshooting chiller operations and chilled water systems
- Modifying and/or installing refrigerant gas and water piping
- Operating, maintaining, diagnosing problems, and repairing industrial type HVAC systems and control devices
- Performing basic, plumbing, electrical, and sheet metal work; welding and repairing material and brazing pipe; cutting, brazing and soldering high pressure refrigerant piping
- Must have completed a 3-to-5-year apprenticeship and/or relevant Degree in HVAC or acceptable equivalent qualifications/experience
- 5 years field work in the HVAC industry
- Must hold any required HVAC license from your home country and valid (in-date)
- Proven chiller and package air-conditioning experience, including maintenance, installation, and commissioning
- Able to carry out TC/MC calculations and expert fault-finding techniques
- Availability to travel as and when required
- Possession of valid local Driving License as per the need of the business
- Site/Depot based job requiring both technical and manual work to be conducted in all weather and terrain
- Excellent quality control analysis skills
- Ability to compile reports for changes, including reporting costs, estimating values, and justifying changes
- Ability to review work of construction
- Maintains air distribution and balance systems
- Adds chemicals and analyse water treatment for chilled water and heating system
- Able to plan and install auxiliary control systems
- Expert at reviews of new designs and concepts
- 3 + years relevant international work experience, Cross cultural work experience is advantageous
- Fluent command of English language, spoken and written
- Intermediate working knowledge of MS Office suite
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of technical knowledge
- Able to manage complex engineering solutions, guide and supervise others for work in power system environments
- Able to make complex technical decisions
- Able to guide and assist others with detailed levels of technical knowledge relating to the role of planning and
- carrying out engineering activities
