They have recently opened a high-profile position for a qualified caliber to act as their General Manager and lead their operations in Saudi Arabia.Key Accountabilities
  • Develop and implement the company's strategic plans in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Monitor the gas industry in Saudi Arabia, keeping abreast of market trends, competitors, and opportunities for business expansion.
  • Oversee the commercial operations of the gas company, including contract negotiations and business development activities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements in the gas industry.
  • Drive operational excellence by implementing processes and systems that enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Provide strong leadership and mentorship to a diverse team of professionals, encouraging teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and manage the company's budget, ensuring effective financial planning and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to cultivate strong relationships and foster business growth.
  • Maintain a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental standards, ensuring compliance and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
  • Represent the company in meetings, conferences, and industry events, building a positive brand image and enhancing market presence.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Minimum of ten years of experience as a General Manager or Country Manager within the gas, oil, or contracting industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the gas market in Saudi Arabia, including market dynamics, client relationships, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Background in commercial operations, including contract negotiation, sales, and business development.
  • Engineering background preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams.
  • Excellent business acumen with a sound understanding of financial management principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English. Arabic language skills would be advantageous.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities.
  • Saudi Arabia residency and familiarity with local cultural norms and practices.
