Your new role, what's involved?We are seeking an experienced Interface Management Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of experience, specifically in interface management roles within the consultancy sector, with a strong background in site supervision for projects such as roads, tunnels, bridges, and highways.Responsibilities:Interface Identification: Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify and document all interfaces within and between project elements, including systems, disciplines, and stakeholders.Interface Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential interface issues, conflicts, and dependencies that may impact project performance, schedule, or budget.Interface Management Plan: Develop and implement a structured interface management plan to proactively manage interface-related risks and ensure seamless coordination and integration across project interfaces.Interface Coordination: Facilitate regular interface coordination meetings and workshops with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to review interface requirements, resolve conflicts, and track interface deliverables.Communication and Reporting: Establish clear lines of communication and reporting for interface management activities, ensuring timely dissemination of information, escalation of issues, and resolution of conflicts.Change Management: Manage interface-related changes and updates, including scope changes, design modifications, and contractual variations. Assess the impact of changes on interface requirements and coordinate with relevant parties to implement appropriate adjustments.Interface Monitoring and Control: Monitor interface performance against established metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and milestones. Implement corrective actions as necessary to address deviations and ensure alignment with project objectives.Lessons Learned: Capture lessons learned from interface management activities and incorporate feedback into future projects to continuously improve interface management processes and practices.Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with project stakeholders at all levels to foster collaboration, resolve conflicts, and promote alignment on interface-related issues and requirements.   • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in interface management roles within the consultancy sector, with a focus on site supervision for infrastructure projects such as roads, tunnels, bridges, and highways.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing interfaces on complex construction projects, including interface identification, risk assessment, and coordination.
  • Strong understanding of interface management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in interface management software or tools is preferred.
  • Professional certifications related to project management or interface management (e.g., PMP, CII) are a plus.
