- Design and develop offshore pipeline systems, including route selection, material selection, and installation methodologies
- Produce technical drawings and documentation for pipeline projects
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate pipeline designs with overall project requirements
- Perform calculations and analysis to validate design integrity and functionality
- Review and evaluate contractors' proposals, technical specifications, and materials for pipeline projects
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project specifications
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor installation, testing, and commissioning of offshore pipeline systems
- Maintain accurate documentation of design revisions, change orders, and project progress
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore pipeline design
- Strong knowledge of offshore pipeline design principles, materials, and installation methods
- Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD or similar tools
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as ASME B31.4 and API 1104
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required
