JUNIPER NETWORKS ENGINEER

• Develop network architecture plans based on business requirements, utilizing Juniper Networks' hardware and software products.
• Design and implement scalable and high-performance network solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend network design improvements to enhance security, performance, and reliability.
• Configure and deploy Juniper routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment.
• Implement network protocols, routing, and switching configurations.
• Ensure proper VLAN, IP addressing, and subnetting for efficient traffic management.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, patch management, and hardware replacements.
• Monitor network performance, analyze logs, and proactively address issues to minimize downtime.
• Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls, to protect the network from threats.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and security policies.
• Identify and resolve network-related issues promptly, minimizing service disruptions.
• Provide technical support to end-users and other IT teams.
• Collaborate with vendors and support teams for complex problem resolution.
• Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including configurations, diagrams, and policies.
• Generate reports on network performance, capacity, and utilization.
• Analyze network traffic patterns and optimize configurations for better performance.
• Implement Quality of Service (QoS) policies to prioritize critical applications and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, security specialists, and developers, to meet business goals.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Juniper Networks certifications, such as JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, or JNCIE, are highly desirable.
• Proven experience in designing, configuring, and managing Juniper-based network solutions.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and IPsec.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to network security best practices.
