- Develop network architecture plans based on business requirements, utilizing Juniper Networks' hardware and software products.
- Design and implement scalable and high-performance network solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend network design improvements to enhance security, performance, and reliability.
- Configure and deploy Juniper routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment.
- Implement network protocols, routing, and switching configurations.
- Ensure proper VLAN, IP addressing, and subnetting for efficient traffic management.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, patch management, and hardware replacements.
- Monitor network performance, analyze logs, and proactively address issues to minimize downtime.
- Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls, to protect the network from threats.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and security policies.
- Identify and resolve network-related issues promptly, minimizing service disruptions.
- Provide technical support to end-users and other IT teams.
- Collaborate with vendors and support teams for complex problem resolution.
- Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including configurations, diagrams, and policies.
- Generate reports on network performance, capacity, and utilization.
- Analyze network traffic patterns and optimize configurations for better performance.
- Implement Quality of Service (QoS) policies to prioritize critical applications and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, security specialists, and developers, to meet business goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Juniper Networks certifications, such as JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, or JNCIE, are highly desirable.
- Proven experience in designing, configuring, and managing Juniper-based network solutions.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and IPsec.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to network security best practices.
