They rank among the top five global companies by market capitalization, ensuring profitability and sustainability.Our client seeks an experienced Senior Project Engineer (also known as Project Manager) specializing in Petrochemicals to join their Project Management team (PMT). PMT oversees capital projects, ensuring safe, timely, and budget-compliant execution. Responsibilities include managing project teams, ensuring compliance with objectives and standards, and handling business aspects like HR and cost control.
Duties and Responsibilities:Lead capital projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
Manage project teams for successful project completion.
Provide expertise in Petrochemical projects throughout all phases.
Oversee technical and project management aspects from design to closeout.
Resolve project issues promptly and ensure safety measures.
Implement company initiatives and meet Key Performance Indices (KPIs).
Prepare project performance reports and anticipate changes.
Assign manpower, oversee training, and maintain project records.
Negotiate agreements and guide team in adhering to standards.
Review project progress, costs, and schedule regularly.
Uphold engineering ethics and professionalism.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; advanced degree preferred.
PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification required.
15 years' project management experience in refining and petrochemical industries, including 7 years as Sr. PE or project manager.
Expertise in Engineering Design & Construction phases and international procedures.
Dynamic attitude towards project improvements and savings.
