- Lead the overall project planning, execution, and delivery of the stadium construction project from inception to completion, including site selection, design development, permitting, and construction phases.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Coordinate and manage the efforts of internal project teams, external consultants, contractors, and vendors to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards throughout the construction process.
- Proactively identify and address project risks, issues, and challenges, developing and implementing effective mitigation strategies as needed.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, workshops, and reviews with key stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and make informed decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and strategic goals.
- Prepare and present project status reports, executive summaries, and presentations to client management teams as required.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and knowledge sharing among project team members and stakeholders.
- Monitor project performance metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and financial indicators, analyzing trends and variances to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and lessons learned sessions to capture best practices, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous process improvement.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Plans, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned program, project, or subtask.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 25 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 10 years in senior leadership roles overseeing large-scale state of the art construction projects
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Ability to demonstrate involvement on a sports or entertainment project from commencement date to handover/ project completion.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information and influence decision-making.
