Your responsibilities will include conducting safety inspections and audit, implementing and monitoring safety programs, and providing safety training and guidance. You will collaborate with various departments to develop and implement safety procedures, promote safety awareness, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.At ABANA, we are committed to maintaining a safe and secure work environment. Support the development of occupational health and safety policies and programs
Review existing policies and measures and update according to requirements.
Inspect work sites to identify issues.
Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.
Check if all the employees are acting in adherence with safety rules and standards
Review accidents and suggest to prevent similar future incidents.
Carry out investigations to identify the root cause of an incident or other unsafe conditions on a work site.
Ensure full and accurate health and safety and training records are maintained.
Inspect safety items and equipment to ensure that they are in good working condition and ready to be used as and when needed.
Document safety audits, cite dangerous areas, and recommend corrective procedures.
RequirementsA. Education and Training- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required e.g. Quality Management, Engineering andSafety Management is a Plus.B. ExperienceMinimum of 1 year of work Experience as a safety practitioner.C. Skills and Attributes * Good command of spoken and written English and Arabic.
Proficient in MS Office programs.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety.
