Senior Structural / Civil Engineer

• Daily inspection of site works, making sure that execution is being done according to approved shop drawings and approved materials.
• Review the Shop drawings, Structural drawings, reports, specifications, and materials submittals submitted by the Contractor/Subcontractor to ensure completeness, correctness, comply with the scope of work and requirements.
• Carry out a constructability review.
• Ensure that the Contractor/subcontractor incorporated the comments raised from previous Stages.
• Attend Technical meetings with the Contractor's Sub-Contractors and other Project Management team members.
• Coordinate with the Document Controller to ensure that all documents related to his discipline are properly controlled.
• Review and approve product data, samples, inspection and test reports, and other Contractor submittals.
• Instruct the Contractor/subcontractor to take samples as required.
• Prepare lists of defects and issues and check rectification by the Contractor.
• Ensure that the Contractor's as-built drawings and operations and maintenance manuals are in order.
• Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures within Hill International and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience in a similar role.
• Registration as a licensed professional engineer is required.
• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
• Previous experience in STAADPRO, AutoDesk REVIT Structural and AutoCAD Software is highly preferred.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
