- Plan, allocate and schedule manpower for various maintenance jobs to meet the daily maintenance objectives, in accordance with company and industry work procedure standards.
- Respond swiftly to emergency repairs to restore the failed machines or equipment to operating condition as quickly as possible.
- Ensure the workplace is always maintained clean and tidy in line with company standards.
- Adhere to HSE regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Lead daily toolbox talk with his technicians &highlight any safety issue related to the assigned work to technicians.
- Standby whenever required to meet urgent or continent requirements of the plant e.g., plant turnaround or shutdown call out suitable technician to cover emergency jobs.
- Awareness of MS office and SAP system.
- Supervising electrical maintenance service and repairs of equipment and fixtures such as motors and transformers.
- Applying best practice procedures utilized in electrical maintenance.
- Supervising team of electrical maintenance workers.
- Designing and implementing work schedules for the electrical team.
- Providing motivation and assistance when necessary.
- Inspecting and assessing the work done by the electrical team.
- Reading and interpreting design schematics to ensure the proper installation of electrical systems.
- Troubleshooting major system failures and equipment malfunctions.
- Repairing and maintaining electrical equipment.
- Diploma in electrical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 10 years of operational experience of working with electrical maintenance dept in any chemical / petrochemical industry
