Job Description:Windows server administrationNetwork infrastructure managementManage security and resolve cybersecurity alertsRespond to and resolve system alerts and eventsMonitor the system backup and execute restoration testsMonitor system performance and run periodic health checkDesign, install and configure internal and customer facing servers, network devices and firewallsProactively manage and maintain server, network and firewall systemsAdminister and support core Microsoft and virtualization technologiesDevelop and implement project plans, risk assessments and contingency plansDesign and implement monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions that will make a hands-off environmentDefine and document best practices and support proceduresProvide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional weekend maintenanceMaintain inventory and asset configuration documentationAssist with hardware, firewall, telecom and software vendor evaluation, recommendation and negotiations Mentor / cross train team members on existing and new technologiesCarry out special tasks at Management's directionInteract with customers and staff at the technical level, as required.Skills:ITIL CertifiedExperience with industry best practicesExperience in antivirus, batch management and domain controllerExperience in storage administrationExperience in incident management, problem management and change managementTeam worker; will be required to acquire knowledge transfer from other IT operations team members and act on their behalfStrong command of windows and hardware maintenanceStrong communication skills
