Job Description:Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Technical Director - Structural Engineering to join our team! In this role you will get to oversee all aspects of structural design and engineering for the stadium construction project. You will lead a team of skilled professionals and collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of the project. This role requires a seasoned leader with extensive experience in mega structural steel projects and a passion for innovation and excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a landmark project and leave a lasting legacy in the industry.What You'll Be Doing:Lead the structural engineering team in developing innovative and cost-effective solutions for the projects mega structural steel requirements.Collaborate with architects and other design professionals to ensure seamless integration of structural elements with the overall design concept.Oversee the structural analysis and design, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.Provide technical expertise and guidance on complex structural engineering issues.Manage the procurement of structural materials and services, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.Conduct thorough reviews and inspections of structural plans, drawings, and specifications to identify and resolve potential issues.Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources related to structural engineering activities, and implement corrective actions as necessary.Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing updates, reports, and presentations as required.What Required Skills You'll Bring:Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate multidisciplinary teams.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.What Desired Skills You'll Bring:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural EngineeringMinimum of 20 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on large-scale projects involving mega structural steel projectsProven track record of successfully delivering complex structural engineering projects, preferably sports complex’s, stadiums, high capacity entertainment arena’s or similar structures.Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Not Applicable/NoneParsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
