- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, projects, and opportunities within the precast construction industry.
- Gather data on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory requirements related to precast projects.
- Analyze market data and trends to identify target markets, customer needs, and emerging opportunities for precast products and services.
- Proposal Preparation and Documentation:
- Assist in preparing proposals, bids, and tender documents for precast construction projects, in collaboration with the business development team.
- Coordinate with engineering, estimating, and project management teams to gather technical specifications, cost estimates, and project timelines.
- Format, organize, and finalize proposal documents to ensure compliance with client requirements and submission deadlines.
- Client Communication and Relationship Management:
- Support business development managers in communicating with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors regarding precast project opportunities.
- Maintain client databases, contact lists, and CRM systems, and track communication activities and interactions.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, presentations, and site visits with clients to discuss project requirements, specifications, and expectations.
- Project Coordination and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, production, and logistics, to coordinate precast project activities and deliverables.
- Participate in project meetings, reviews, and discussions to provide input and support to project teams.
- Liaise with external partners, suppliers, and subcontractors to procure materials, services, and resources for precast projects.
- Marketing and Promotion:
- Assist in developing marketing materials, presentations, and promotional campaigns to showcase the organization's capabilities and expertise in precast construction.
- Coordinate participation in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential clients and promote precast products and services.
- Monitor industry publications, websites, and social media channels to stay informed about precast industry trends, news, and opportunities.
- Administrative Support and Reporting:
- Provide administrative support to the business development team, including scheduling meetings, preparing expense reports, and maintaining project files.
- Prepare regular reports, updates, and presentations on precast business development activities, progress, and outcomes.
- Assist in tracking sales leads, opportunities, and pipeline activities, and provide regular updates to management.
