- Supports strict implementation of the beverage SOP and brand standards.
- Conducts monthly Bar Audits in all locations.
- Oversees the quality and consistency of the beverages.
- Oversees all set ups, mise en place, daily checklists, (ensuring coffee machinery equipment is functioning and calibrated) in daily basis.
- Oversees desserts, pastry and bakery products are fresh and displayed as per the Standard.
- Monitors cleaning duties as per cleaning schedules and instructions as required.
- Ensure all SOEs are clean, odour free and in best condition.
- Adheres and implement all other service standards and procedures (Manuals / SOP, HACCP)
- To operate an effective and accurate administration process to maintain and ensure smooth bar operations and high-quality standards within the framework of the budget.
- Assists par levels for the bar items and continuously monitors and adjust to business needs to maximise profit.
- Assists in SOP creation, shelf life, and system recipes.
- Provides technical assistance and expertise related to beverage equipment, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and training of colleagues.
- Ensures optimal functionality and quality standards for coffee extraction and other beverage preparation.
- Detects and reports to Maintenance Department for any technical error and malfunctions of other bar equipment.
- Accountable for beverage quality and conducts regular line checks to ensure standards of merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing bar products.
- To act as a brand ambassador inside and outside of work.
- Working to uphold quality and pride in their work, themselves, and their Café.
- Maintains the presentation and effectiveness of the café and bar by proactively ensuring it is clean and organised.
- To ensure Brand Standards and Beverage SOPs implemented by the Beverage Manager are strictly followed in the operation.
- To set good example on hygiene, food and beverage handling.
- To be the central point with the Beverage Manager for “anything” related to Bar Operations.
- Adheres to grooming guidelines.
- To support in the training of new team members as required and undertake any Barista trainings provided by training department and the Beverage Manager.
- Responsible for the health, safety and welfare of all guests, colleagues, and self at all the times.
- With no exception will strictly comply with all hygiene, sanitation and food safety guidelines as laid out by the Company, in line with local Country Laws, and regulations.
