Title: Oncology Brand ManagerCompany: Ipsen Pharma (SAS)Job Description:Summary / purpose of the positionThe Brand Manager is accountable for providing overall marketing support to Ipsen’s oncology portfolio to ensure both qualitative and quantitative results are achieved in Saudi Arabia.Main responsibilities / job expectationsDefine strategic orientations according to Ipsen priorities and roadmap :
  • Provide clear guidelines about Ipsen objectives and expectations related to product strategy
  • Challenge and validate proposed operation plans
  • Guarantee that Partners operational plans are aligned with Ipsen strategy and be responsible for timely execution according to Ipsen Ethics and operations standards
Follow-up of Countries and Partner’s action plans:
  • Challenge status and secure action plan execution
  • Ensure promotional materials availability
  • Follow-up regulatory roadmap
  • Secure products’ launches and indications
Coordinate the implementation of new product launches and support country manager in the implementation of specific potential BD projects:
  • Track timely execution of regulatory and packaging roadmap
  • Implement logistic process
  • Prepare launches
  • Organize, train people accordingly
Prepare, implement and follow-up Saudi Arabia medico-marketing projects:
  • Define strategic objectives of the projects
  • Ensure appropriate and timely Medical Education agency deliverables.
  • Liaise with KOLs
  • Coordinate the scientific program design and implementation in conjunction with medical teams
  • Validate attendee’s profiles, responsible for tools and materials preparation / production
  • Communicate to the region progresses
  • Assesses events impact
Improve market understanding by performing market studies and making strategic recommendations accordingly:
  • Identify, recommend & brief providers
  • Review questionnaires
  • Challenge and present results to Ipsen Management
Knowledge, abilities & experienceEducation / Certifications:
  • Minimum educational level necessary to perform the job (High school diploma, associate degree, Bachelor’s degree, Masters, PhD)
  • Scientific, medical and/or business management background (Master, Bachelor)
  • MBA preferred (master’s degree in business and / or Marketing)
Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years related experience within a pharmaceutical company as brand manager.
  • Oncology would be a plus.
Languages:
  • Written and spoken proficiency in English.
  • Additional languages preferred.
Key Technical Competencies Required
  • Experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies + proven experience in customer and market research
  • Relevant experience within pharmaceutical Marketing and/or other Commercial functions, both at Affiliate and regional/global level
  • Oncology experience will be a plus.
  • Possesses solid communication skills, including the ability to interface across geographies and functions within Ipsen as well as with customers.
