Language Requirements: Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).We are in search of a dynamic and seasoned Business Development Director to spearhead our growth initiatives and lead business expansion efforts in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate should possess an in-depth understanding of local market dynamics, industry trends, and regulatory frameworks, coupled with a proven track record of successfully identifying and securing new business opportunities.Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute strategic business development plans to attain company objectives and revenue targets.
- Identify novel business prospects in telecommunication infrastructure, electromechanical services, general constructions, data center infrastructure, OSP infrastructure, and facility management sectors.
- Cultivate and nurture robust relationships with key clients, industry stakeholders, and government entities to maximize business development opportunities.
- Guide the entire sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to proposal submission, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to pinpoint emerging trends, competitive threats, and potential areas for business growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, finance, and legal, to devise customized solutions meeting client requirements.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and forge strategic partnerships.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on business development activities, pipeline status, and market insights.
- Stay informed about industry regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 8-10 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or strategic planning, preferably in the telecommunications or construction industry.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in a competitive market environment.
- Strong network of contacts within the telecommunication, construction, and facility management sectors in Saudi Arabia.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
- Saudi Arabia nationality preferred, with a deep understanding of the local business culture, customs, and regulations, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of procurement laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
