Senior Procurement Officer - Civil & Marine

• Develop and implement procurement strategies specific to civil and marine projects.
• Source and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms and conditions, and establish contracts.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance and support.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services required for civil and marine projects.
• Monitor and track supplier performance, resolve any issues, and take corrective actions as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and implement best practices in procurement for civil and marine projects.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior procurement officers.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in procurement within the civil and marine sectors.
• Strong knowledge of procurement principles, processes, and best practices in construction projects.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proven track record in managing procurement activities for civil and marine projects.
• Ability to analyze project requirements, interpret technical specifications, and evaluate supplier proposals.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.
• Previous experience in a senior procurement role is preferred.
