- To work within the guidelines set out in the Housekeeping Operational Manual about cleaning methods, chemical usage, service, quality, H&S, environment, and safe working practices
- Responsible for the delivery of the cleaning and waste removal services in accordance with the soft services standards as directed.
- Operate mechanical floor cleaners and polishers.
- Learn and assist with the pest control program.
- Provide active participation in teamwork and work accomplishment.
- Contribute to promoting a safe environment within the buildings and areas for all end-users.
- Maintain the appropriate standards of hygiene, uniform, appearance, posture, and conduct of the housekeeping staff.
- Must follow the Rules and Regulations of the department and contribute to the safety of the housekeepers at work.
- Appraise one's own output and participate in the departmental and external training programs to gain more knowledge
- Maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally.
- Works co-operatively with customers/stakeholders, maintaining regular, consistent, and clear communications.Minimum qualifications / educational levels required for this position
